the feature film attempt to present the real world from a different perspective. Makoto's film gives a realistic view of the struggles many face against: time, space, people, and love. The title " 5 Centimeters Per Second " comes from the speed at which cherry blossoms petals fall,

petals being a metaphorical representation of humans,
reminiscent of the slowness of life and how
people often ^{start together} but
slowly d r i f t into their_{s e p a r a t e} w a y s .

I haven't seen this picture before, since it's the beginning of my 'journey' through Your gallery...
but I see there is much pleasure, both for my eyes and soul, in front of me...

this anime is far more better than most films because although it's an animation, it's so much like a life of an average human...
no extremely beautiful women, handsome men and superheroes included in the script (I'm sick of them),
just people like You and me with their problems, dilemmas and numerous thoughts in their heads...
I never thought I would be a heroine of a story, but I am,at least in some way...

I still sometimes write letters to a close Friend of mine... and he always sends me the messages he types on his phone
I guess we have added a slightly better ending to our story.
However I'm not sure if 'ending' is the right word..

you are right about the "ending" thing .
if i may say , one thing i've learned
(and there is not a lot ).
Is that there is no ending until we ended.
life do us a lot of surprises ,
i can't imagine a person argue with that cause,
everybody have been in this situation .
when i was a kid i had this girl who was a friend and ,
after 12 years , she send me an mail telling me she got
a baby boy ,idk how she got my address after all but ,
i was very surprise to see that ,if people want ,
people do have the resources to find us .
and so do us .
but the willing to , this is a completely other subject .
