Painting the day by jyoujo Painting the day by jyoujo

" After years, I've learned to live with that wound.

A ghost that drags me whenever I think I have gone.

I learned to let it drag me wherever, without complaining.

These were the worst times, when the pain accumulated and exploded

when my world came down with his weight, his c u r s e ...."

THERE IS NO OTHER .  we can only live the today .

A picture within a picture. I've always loved that concept.

I should learn how to live the "today"
I'm always worrying about the "tomorrow" and regretting about "yesterday"

I don't know why but
my first thought now is that
this picture should look differently
the artist should be on the right side of it and
and the trunk of the tree on the left
I can't tell why but...
oh wait, maybe I can
because I saw a mirror reflection of it previously :)

This is not only a good photo
which introduces a lovely atmosphere.
I fully agree with Wai-Jing
it's 'art captured in art'
I love street artists
I see them so rarely though
when I came back from England
I saw one playing the guitar on some corner
and I saw some young people laughing at him
older ones passing by
ang looking at him like on some freak
I passed by and threw some money
because he was really good
he played the guitar and sang one of his own songs I guess
it's always nice to hear something REAL
than another 1000 times edited song of some kid who has no idea about music
and about playing any instrument
nowadays music is so... artificial
made just in aim to be sold and earn money for its... 'makers'
it's so good to see from time to time
that there are the ones who still know what it really is
it's not a 'product'
it's an ARTISTIC EXPRESSION of what's inside of its performer

the same is with painting
so many people develop their talent
by using tablets, computer proggrames and various tools
the outcomes are many times great but
still I consider PENCIL and PAINTBRUSH as the best tools
for creating art
and I believe too few people leave their trace, their lines on the paper
 they move to digital art
and prefer the proggrames to do it instead
maybe i'm old fashioned and intolerant
but looking at hand made sketches and paintings
always make much more emotion arise inside of me
honestly

I love this photo :glomp:
