" We carry these things inside us

that no one else can see

they hold us down like anchors

they drown us out at sea "

'Carry an anchor
to the sea; you fall in, then
wonder why you drown

You could save yourself, if you
were willing to let it go'

Is that the torii at Itsukushima? I honestly think it is one of the most beautiful places in Japan O_____O

You have to pay to get in?! I like it a little bit less now :/
I guess a place like that needs a lot of tourists' money for maintenance, but still... how much is spirituality worth?

Ah, I misunderstood. That's a relief :D
There are some beautiful Chinese-style gardens in Sydney that I love to visit, but they charge you for entry and it's really expensive to get in. I thought maybe this was the same - I'm glad it's not! I guess Hiroshima Bay is a long way from Kyoto!

I have been living in Japan and take pictures too, but I am only beginning. I hope mine turn out as beautiful as yours someday!

I like your vision in this one, the lighting and exposure is nice. But the dead center composition is really uninteresting.
